Bookkeeper Skills and Qualifications:

Bookkeeper Job Duties:

  • Full Range of Bookkeeping activities 
  • Accounts Receivable: invoices, statements, collections 
  • Accounts Payable: verify bills, payments 
  • Accounts Reconciliations 
  • Maintain chart of accounts 
  • Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. 
  • Record cash and credit card receipts, make bank deposits, petty cash 
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system 
  • Maintain employee files 
  • Maintain employee benefits programs 
  • Processes payroll in a timely manner (check time sheets, submit payroll via processing company) 
  • Record all customer interactions in CRM system 
  • Work collaboratively with employees to obtain necessary information 
  • Provide reports and analysis to the management 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting OR at least 3 years of Bookkeeping / Accounting experience 
  • Exceptional communication skills, friendliness 
  • Basic Human Resources Management Skills (willing to learn) 
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (pivot tables), Word, Outlook 
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines 
  • Team and independent work under tight deadlines

Compensation:

  • Compensation TBD based on experience and skills

Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Sales Manager will serve customers by selling products; meeting customer needs; increase sales by obtaining new customers and maintaining relations with current ones in assigned territory; provide exceptional customer service. Potential applicants must be organized, detail oriented, and available to work at our office in O’Fallon, Missouri Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00pm as well as travel within assigned territory up to 50% of time.

Territory Sales Manager Job Duties:

  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers. 
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers and other customer types. 
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature. 
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call and meeting reports, weekly work plans and reports, and monthly and annual territory analyses, thorough submission of activities in existing CRM system. 
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. 
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. 
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; helping with warranty claims and technical issues; answering general and specific questions; approving returns and credits; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. 
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations. 
  • Establishes and meets sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for territory in support of national objectives. 
  • Travels to assigned territory by arranging the business trips in the most effective way; planning the agenda and budgets for the business trip; preparing for the meeting thoroughly with all necessary information and analytics to discuss while the meeting; following-up with customers after the meetings; reporting to management. 
  • Collaborates with order fulfilment team on order processing. 
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. 
  • Maintains financial security and confidentiality by following internal controls. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of time. 
  • Exceptional communication skills, personable. 
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables), Word, Outlook. 
  • Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.

  • Must be able to adapt to different working environments and job responsibilities. 

Preferred Applicants Possess:

  • College or University Degree (or studying). 
  • Customer Service Experience 
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar software) and CRM systems 
  • Previous sales experience
